And just a two hour drive north from the start of the F3 freeway at Sydney - tar sealed road right to the front gate.
VIA RAYMOND TERRACE- At roundabout, end of the freeway, proceed North via Pacific Highway towards Taree. After the Hexham Bridge, turn left at large roundabout to Raymond Terrace (Adelaide Street). Sign also indicates Dungog & Barrinton Tops. If you need to go shopping make this diversion- At Raymond Terrace turn left, 1st set of traffic lights, right at the 2nd roundabout to large Woolworths Supermarket. There is also a new shopping complex (large Woolworths Supermarket with liquor shop, Big W, etc). further down the same street.(Both Woolworths supermarkets open until 10.00pm Monday to Friday, until 9.00 p.m. Saturday and 8.00 p.m. Sundays). Supermarkets are in Port Stephens Street which leads to a large roundabout turn left towards Dungog into Seaham Road. Proceeding to Gumnut Glen- Proceed North, turn left at McDonalds into William Bailey/Seaham Road proceed to T intersection at Seaham. Turn right towards Clarence Town and Dungog (Clarence Town Road.) When you reach Clarence Town take the left hand bend and head towards Dungog, we are approx. 9 kms further on and from the Wallarobba Brookfield Road sign we are 300 metres further, on right hand side. We have a big sign out the front, the office and cabins are 750 metres up the driveway straight ahead. Clarence Town Shopping-IGA Supermarket (7am-7pm), butcher, baker, newsagent, coffee shops, Bowling Club & PO. Dungog Shopping-IGA Supermarkets (7am-7pm), butchers, bakers, chemist, newsagent, restaurants & coffee shops, RSL & Bowling Club, dress shops, craft & gift shops, PO, petrol station, NRMA and more. NB- No petrol available in Clarence Town, Dungog has petrol.
Via Morpeth - At roundabout end of the freeway, proceed North via New England Highway towards Maitland. Left turn into New England Highway, take 2nd right hand turnoff to Morpeth and Clarence Town (Melbourne Street). If you need to go shopping make this diversion- On the left about 5 kms down the Highway is Green Hills shopping centre.(Woolworths & Coles Supermarkets open until 10 pm Monday to Friday, until 9 p.m. on Saturdays and 8.00 p.m. on Sundays. Liquor shop in center and one just outside the center.) Exit Greenhills to New England Highway, left turn. Proceeding to Gumnut Glen- Take right turnoff to Morpeth. (Melbourne Street, near Henny Penny) proceed to Morpeth. (Morpeth dates back to the early 1800s has craft, coffee shops, Museum plus more, nice place to visit.) Turn left over the Morpeth Bridge, 1st right into Hinton Road then left just off the bridge. Proceed to T junction, right towards Clarence Town and Dungog. (becomes Clarence Town Road). When you reach Clarence Town take the left hand bend and head towards Dungog, we are approx. 9 kms further on, and from the Wallarobba Brookfield Road sign we are 300 metres further, on right hand side.
